The Director of the 'Upper Peninsula Children's Museum' has received an award. Nheena Weyer Ittner is the lone recipient of the '2007 President's Award for Distinguished Services.' The award was given for her efforts to establish and grow the Children's Museum. Ittner received the award September 25th at the 'Midwest Museum Associations' annual conference on Mackinac Island.'
The U.P. Children's Museum is celebrating it's 10th birthday this year, and welcomes over 50-thousand guests a year. © Copyright 2013, wnmu
