A Marquette woman has been arrested for attempted arson of a residence. Troopers from the Negaunee post were called to a home on West Fair Avenue in Marquette Township around 10:30 Sunday night, and found that a man in the residence had already put the fire out. A 37-year-old woman has been lodged in the Marquette County Jail. Additional charges may be issued pending review of the case by the Marquette County Prosecutor's Office.
