The President of Northern Michigan University is focusing on tradition and transformation. During his annual fall convocation address Wednesday, Dr. Les Wong told NMU faculty and staff about the university's "Roadmap to 2015." He says its primary goal is to attract, keep, and graduate students. Wong says that will become even more important as the U.P. and the nation begin to see far fewer college-age students in the next few years. Wong also touched on internationalization, accreditation, and the campus master plan. He asked faculty and staff to start thinking about a "library of the future," which would eventually be part of the renovation of the Learning Resources Center.
