The trial of a man accused of pushing his wife off an Upper Peninsula cliff has been postponed. Thomas Richardson is charged with causing the death of his wife, Juanita, at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore last summer. Richardson is appealing the decision to dismiss his original attorney, who the prosecutor says engaged in witness tampering. Wednesday Judge Charles Stark postponed the trial, which was scheduled to begin August 6, while the Court of Appeals considers the case.
