ISHPEMING, MI

A group of Upper Peninsula National Guard soldiers is getting ready to head overseas. The 107th Engineer Battalion out of Ishpeming will go to Fort McCoy in Wisconsin for training, then be sent to Iraq to support U.S. forces there. A departure ceremony will be held Sunday at 7:30 a.m. at Westwood High School in west Ishpeming. Troops are set to leave at 9:30 a.m.
