Officials with ArtServe Michigan will be looking for Michigan's greatest examples of art and culture, starting July 20th. The organization will be accepting nominations in 8 catagories for the widely known Governor's Art Awards for Art and Culture. The award ceremony has taken place for two decades and is considered by many as an important aspect of Michigan culture. This year's ceremony will occur November 29th at the Detroit Institute of Arts as part of the venue's grand re-openeing. For more information visit www.artservemichigan.org.
