Two people are injured, following a four-vehicle accident in Ishpeming. City Police say the incident occurred around 6:25 Monday morning at the intersection of US-41 and Second Street. A 24-year-old Crystal Falls man was in the westbound passing lane when he rear-ended a vehicle waiting at the red light. The second vehicle, driven by Stephan Valenti, 20, of Ishpeming, then rear-ended another vehicle, driven by Ralph Belmore, 40, of Marquette. The chain reaction caused Valenti's vehicle to strike a car in the driving lane. Injured were the driver of the first car and his passenger, Katie Hookenson, 16, of Crystal Falls. They were taken to Bell Hospital for treatment. The Marquette County Prosecutor's Office will review charges against the Crystal Falls man for Operating while Intoxicated. © Copyright 2013, wnmu
