Two people are injured, following a double ATV accident in Marquette County. The Sheriff's Office says the incident occurred Sunday around 11:15 a.m. on Trail 8 in Sands Township. Robert LaForest, 29, of Negaunee was southbound when he struck a northbound ATV driven by Anthony Fetterhoff, 17, also of Negaunee. Both were knocked unconscious for a time, then LaForest used his cell phone to call for help. The two were taken to Marquette General Hospital and treated for their injuries. Their conditions are unknown at this time.LaForest was cited for Speed Greater than Reasonable, and Fetterhoff was cited for failing to obtain an ORV registration permit. The accident remains under investigation.
