State Park officials announced last week that the Friends of the Porcupine Mountains will be purchasing fishing licenses for area youth. The organization is working in union with Michigan's Free Fishing Weekend and will be giving out the licenses at 3 events in the Ontonagon area June 9th through 10th. The programs will be held at the Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park, Lake Gogebic State Park and the Ontonagon Marina. For more information on the event call 906-842-3341.
