Williams pleads in murder-for-hire case

A woman accused of soliciting the murder of her estranged husband has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge. Tammy Jo Williams, 40, of Petoskey and her boyfriend Robert Dalgliesh, 43 allegedly tried to hire an inmate at the Newberry Correctional Facility to kill her husband, a correctional officer there. Williams was originally charged with Solicitation of Murder. Tuesday she pleaded to Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Enterprise. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. Sentencing is set for May 8 in 11th Circuit Court.
