The Department of Natural Resources is creating an advisory council to improve outdoor recreation access. The council, which is being called The Accessibility Advisory Council, has been created to ensure that all Michigan residents as well as tourists have sufficient access to all natural resource services, facilities and programs. The AAC will provide the DNR with input and ideas for new programs and will assist in strategic planning.
