Marquette woman accused of embezzlement

(wnmu) - A Marquette woman has been arrested for embezzling money from her employer. City police say Crystal Wakeham, 28, was employed as a manger at the Admiral gas station. It is alleged she took more than $6,000 from daily deposits over a six-month period. Wakeham is charged with Embezzlement Agent or Trustee. The charge is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine, or three times the amount embezzled, whichever is greater.
