Cleveland Cliffs, Inc. has once again broken financial records. The mining company says revenues from product sales and services in 2006 came to $2 billion, exceeding the prior record set the year before by 15 percent. Officials say CCI operating income was $387.5 million, beating the year-ago record by nine percent. And the company's sales margin also set a record by increasing 12 percent to an all-time high of $435.8 million. The report indicates fourth-quarter 2006 North American pellet sales amounted to $7.2 million tons, an 18 percent increase from the same time last year. © Copyright 2013, wnmu
