A new group in the Escanaba area called Upper Peninsula for Peace will focus on getting more people to speak out against the war in Iraq. Group member Kim Donaldson says the group will help participants learn how to effectively voice their opinions. Donaldson says the group was formed in response to the President's recent call for a troop surge in Iraq. The group will meet February 12th at 7 p.m. on the Bay College campus, in room 961 of the Heirman Building.For more information call 906-497-4207.
