U.S. Congressman Bart Stupak has been selected to serve on the House Democratic Whip Team for the 100th Congress. As Assistant Whip to James Clyburn, Stupak will help build support for the party's agenda and legislation. Clyburn says he chose Stupak based on the leadership he has displayed in issues such as high gas prices and energy independence.
