Operation Action U.P. has announced its annual Awards of Excellence Winners. Four Upper Peninsula businesses were chosen based on their contributions to the economic well being of their communities. Nu-Vu Foodservice Systems of Menominee, Mackinac Straits Fish Company of St. Ignace, U.P. Engineers and Architects of Houghton, and Peninsula Powder Coating, Inc. of Baraga were recognized at a ceremony Friday in Marquette.
