Governor Jennifer Granholm appointed a new budget director Wednesday. Outgoing Senate Minority Leader Bob Emerson will replace Mary Lannoye, who has been named the Governor's chief of staff. Granholm says Emerson's 26 years of legislative experience make him a good choice to manage the state's budget.
