Gwinn woman injured in rollover accident SANDS TOWNSHIP, MI (wnmu) - A Gwinn woman is slightly injured, following a one-vehicle accident in Sands Township. The Marquette County Sheriff's Department says the incident occurred Wednesday around 8 a.m. on County Road 480 west of Lindberg's Pit. Deputies say Rebecca Bandman, 35, was westbound when she hit an icy patch on the road. She lost control of her vehicle, which ran off the right side of the road and rolled over. Negaunee Township Fire and Rescue and Sands Township EMS assisted Bandman at the scene. She was taken to Marquette General Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Deputies say Bandman was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, and no citations have been issued.
