Marquette Police arrest man for passing fake money

Marquette Police have arrested a man for passing counterfeit money at a local business. Joseph Paul Perry, Jr. was arrested Friday on one count of Uttering and Publishing a Counterfeit Bill. he's accused of passing a fake $50 bill at Econo Foods in Marquette on October 12th of last year. The charge is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $2,500 fine.
