Marquette accident injures two MARQUETTE, MI (wnmu) - Two people are injured, following a two-vehicle accident in Marquette. City Police say the incident occurred Wednesday around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Front and Genesee Streets. They say Leatrice Hautio, 81, of Marquette was southbound on Front when she failed to stop at a red light. She struck a vehicle traveling eastbound on Genesee driven by Lester Perkins, 57, of Marquette, then veered and hit a third vehicle, causing only minor damage. Hautio and Perkins were taken to Marquette General Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The accident remains under investigation. © Copyright 2012, wnmu
