In celebration of March as Women’s History Month, Peter White Public Library presents the film “The Blind Side” on Tuesday, March 5 at 6:00 pm in the library’s community room.
Starring Sandra Bullock in her Academy Award winning role as Leigh Anne Tuohy, The Blind Side is based on the true story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All American football player and first round NFL draft pick with the help of Tuohy and her family.
Also starring Quinton Aaron and Tim McGraw, the film was released in 2009, is rated PG-13, and runs for 129 minutes.
Viewers are welcome to bring a take-out supper and enjoy this series of four films featuring Best Leading Actress Oscar winners portraying real women.
