Highland Heights Police Purchase Segways for Patrols

The Highland Heights Police Department is covering ground more quickly and quietly than ever before with their new segway patrols. Segways are two-wheeled, battery powered vehicles that allow the rider to stand and control the motion by shifting his or her weight. Chief Carl Mullen says they're not only high profile, they save the department money on gas too. WNKU's Matt Kelley caught up with the chief for a demonstration.
