Republicans lose Hastert's seat DEKALB, IL (wnij) - Jim Oberweis failed to keep Dennis Hastert's Congressional seat in Republican hands. During a special election on March 8th, Oberweis lost to Democrat Bill Foster. Foster will fill the rest of Hastert's term.
