DRIVEN: Angela Valianos DEKALB, IL (wnij) - Cavel International in DeKalb is the nation's last slaughterhouse that slaughters horses for human consumption. Illinois' governor signed a bill banning the practice last month. Cavel is currently challenging that ban in federal court.
