Rockford Public Library will host its second community Emergency Preparedness Day on Saturday, September 14, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Nordlof Center, 118 N. Main Street. The Rockford Fire Department, Swedish American Health System, the University of Illinois College of Medicine and other vendors will be on hand to provide valuable information on how to protect yourself, your family, and home in case of a disaster. In addition, participants will make a family emergency plan, and starter Emergency Kits will be given away while supplies last.
This program is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
