Anderson Japanese Gardens will host the first of its 2013 lectures on Thursday, March 21 starting at 7:00 PM in the lower level Gallery of the Visitor Center. The lecture titled Anderson Japanese Gardens: The Early Years (1978-1985), will be presented by Tim Gruner, the Gardens’ Curator and Head of Horticulture.
Gruner will share how Anderson Japanese Gardens gradually emerged from being an overgrown backyard pond into an award-winning internationally renowned Japanese garden that we enjoy today. Original conceptual art drawn by the Gardens’ acclaimed designer/builder, Mr. Hoichi Kurisu, will be on display.
