Join us on Thursday, March 14, as we celebrate Pi Day, the day that honors both the enigmatic number Pi (3.14159...) and the birthday of Albert Einstein (b. 1879) Enter to Win the Tastiest Pie Award Homemade pies must be dropped off Wednesday, March 13 before 9:00 p.m. with a recipe card or ingredients list. A public taste test will be Thursday, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until the pie runs out. Ballot voting for your favorite pie goes until 5:45 p.m. Pie Eating Contest Thursday, March 14 at 4:00 p.m. Register in advance at the Children's Desk. Our thanks to the Parkway Restaurant for donating the pies. Einstein Look-a-Like Contest Visit the Library wearing your best Einstein costume between 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13 and 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14. Stop by the Children's Desk to have your picture taken. A winner will be selected. |
