A community forum titled "Democracy is Not For Sale," will be held February 27 at 6:30pm, North Suburban Library District, Loves Park. The forum, free and open to the public, will focus on the Citizens United Supreme Court decision and the role of money in politics. People from all political persuasions are encouraged to join the discussion. The event is hosted by PDA (Progressive Democrats of America) Northern Illinois, a chapter of PDA Illinois (PDAIllinois.org), and Occupy Rockford. |
