Brown Wants Change at Broadway Market
The Mayor's comments reflect the views of Common Council President David Fronczyk. Fronczyk has called for the resignation of the city-owned market's executive director, Richard Fronczyk, whose contract expires next June.
The Buffalo News reports that the Broadway Market's largest tenant, grocery store Save-a-Lot, has not paid rent to market management since June.
The store reportedly has set aside the rent money in a special account, which will be released once the city and Broadway Market management agree to a new lease.
