Verizon to Offer TV Service
As many as 60,000 customers in parts of Amherst, Tonawanda, the Town and
Village of Hamburg and the Town and Village of Orchard Park can avail themselves of the service, according to Verizon President and C-O-O Denny Strigl.
"FiOS is not cable. FiOS TV is a whole new television viewing experience," Strigl said.
More Western New York communities are expected to be added over time.

Verizon is ready to do battle with WNY's major cable tv provider, Time Warner Cable, with its new, state-of-the-art FiOS TV. As many as 60,000 customers in parts of Amherst, Tonawanda, the Town and
