Crime Analysis Center Opens in Buffalo
The ribbon was cut on the state-of-the-art Erie Crime Analysis Center in Buffalo. The facility was funded by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services.
Commissioner Denise O'Donnell says for the first time every police agency in the county will be able to share information in real time.
O'Donnell says each of the Center's 11-full-time crime analysts has a focus.
"They are analyzing the incidents from 20 police departments across the state on a daily basis," O'Donnell said.
