Jamestown Soldier Killed in Iraq BUFFALO (wned) - The Department of Defense says a 10th Mountain Division soldier from Western New York was killed in a non-combat incident in Iraq.

The Pentagon identified the 22-year-old soldier as Pfc. Patrick May of Jamestown. May was assigned to the division special troops battalion.

Military officials offered no details and said May's death is under investigation.

May is the third Jamestown area soldier to be killed fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan.
