Palin Push Make Put New York in Play BUFFALO (wned) - Russ Gugino, Western New York coordinator for the John McCain campaign, beleieves the buzz provided by Governor Palin's addition to the Republican ticket may be enough to overcome Barack Obama's 8-point poll lead in New York State.

Gugino made that assertion a few hours after Palin's speech, which aroused the Republican National Convention.

A veteran of Republican conventions since 1980, Gugino called it one of the best speeches he's ever heard.
