GOP Leader Praises McCain's VP Choice BUFFALO (wned) - The head of the Erie County Republican Party calls John McCain's choice for Vice President a bold move.

Jim Domagalski says Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will make an excellent running mate for McCain.

He says the selection makes an already-exciting campaign even more interesting.

"The Democratic party has nominated an African-American man to represent it in the election. The Republican party has a certified American hero and patriot at the top of its ticket and an exciting, accomplished woman as its vice-presidential candidate," Domagalski told WNED News.

Domagolski says while Palin has no foreign policy experience, she does bring strong economic experience and a record of government reform to the ticket.

He says Palin will also appeal to female voters.
