Flight 3407 Widows ask Public to "Light the Way Home"
The public is being asked to turn their lights on between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm Friday night, the one-year anniversary of the crash.
Robin Tolsma, who lost her husband Darren in the crash, says "Light the Way Home" is "would show a way to remember everybody who lost their lives on Flight 3407 [and] it's our way, as family members, to hope that your loved ones always make it home safely."
Tolsma came up with the idea with fellow widow Jennifer West. West's husband Ernie was among the 50 lives lost that night.
