SUNY Chancellor Looks to Build "Education Pipeline"
BUFFALO
(wned) -
SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher says she's taking both a "short term" and "long term" approach to the system's strategic plan.
Zimpher will provide details to the University at Buffalo on Wednesday as educational budget cuts are being discussed in Albany.
The new chancellor believes that SUNY needs to be an "educational pipeline'" which helps the prospects for those from kindergarten through college.
Stating that too many are "falling out of a leaky pipeline," Zimpher wants her system to address remedial needs immediately, no matter the stage of development.
