Paladino Considers Governor Run and "Take Down" of Albany
(2010-02-05)
(wned) - Carl Paladino readily admits he's not a "politician." He also readily admits he's
giving serious consideration to running for governor.

"They (the people of New York State) need somebody to go to Albany and drag all those rats out of the cesspool and straighten them out," Paladino told WNED News.

"It's sick! It is just a very, very sick group of people and we've allowed them to spawn in this hell hole we call Albany."

Some call the attorney and developer a gadfly; nothing but a troublemaker. Others denounce his outspokenness. But while the 63-year-old Paladino has his detractors, he also has a growing number of grass roots supporters, among them, Erie County Executive Chris Collins.

Paladino is forging a strategy and says he won't move forward unless he has a "doable plan," but he's not hiding his passion for the possibility.

"We're going to lay out the issues and we intend to fully air those issues and the ridiculous position that our government has taken on those issues in the last couple years. We're going to take them down!"
