Senate Dems Urge Cooperation on Power for Jobs Bill
Senators Antoine Thompson and William Stachowski told reporters in Albany that the measure is of vital economic importance to Western New York. Not to sign it, they contend, puts thousands of area jobs at risk.
"To play so-called Russian Roulette with a program of this importance I don't believe is fair, I don't believe is justifiable and I think it's economically irresponsible," said Senator Thompson.
The Power for Jobs bill and dozens of other bills remained unsigned because of the Senate stalemate.
