Ten year old violinist Mercedes Cheung of Toronto makes her Carnegie Hall debut this Saturday, November 3rd at 8pm. A full scholarship student at Julliard, she studies with former Buffalo resident and member of the Cleveland Quartet, Donald Weilerstein, who teaches at Juilliard and the New England Conservatory. Mercedes will perform, in order, all 24 of the Violin Caprices by Niccolo Paganini. WNED's Peter Hall found out more.
