flutists Sir James and Lady Jeanne Galway re: Magic Flutes At this Saturday night's Buffalo Philharmonic Season Opening Gala (9/22 at 8pm at Kleinhans Music Hall) duo flutists Sir James and Lady Jeanne Galway will perform a work written just for them by David Overton. Called "The Magic Flutes" it uses a number of famous and some less well known Mozart melodies. And Sir James will solo in Mozart's Flute Concerto in D. WNED's Peter Hall sat down with this charming husband and wife and they talked about.... well.... flutes!
