Pascal Roge
French pianist enjoys a true French Connection
Pianist Pascal Rogé has fond memories of his student days at the Paris Conservatory. He studied with Marguerite Long, one of Debussy's favorite pianists. In his piano lessons, he often heard her say, "Debussy told me this," or, "He wanted this passage played like this."

Debussy is just the tip of the repertory iceberg for pianist Pascal Rogé. His performances and recordings of Ravel, Satie and Faure are also considered by many to have set the standard for interpreting 20th century French music.
