Composer Michael Torke is best known for "Javelin" and his color series -- including "Bright Blue Music," "Green", and "Ecstatic Orange." His works include a lovely opera -- "Strawberry Fields" and several ballets written for the National Ballet of Canada. His newest opera, "Central Park West" opens September, 2008 in Milwaukee.
