Karisa Wilson performs a soulful blend of Folk, Blues and Jazz, or Americana. Ms. Wilson is an award winning singer-songwriter from Michigan. Her debut album “Little Girl” won the WYCE’s Album of the Year Jammie, one of Michigan’s most prestigious indie music awards. Karisa writes and performs a blend of Folk, Blues and Jazz. She’s also a classically trained violinist.
MAJIC also consists of a gallery of visual art. This month the art will be provided by the Kids of Hill Child Development Center, a child-care center which is a mission of Bethlehem Church, based in the Bethlehem Lutheran facility and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The art opening is at 6:30 p.m. on the night of the concert.
MAJIC is a mission of Bethlehem Lutheran, with the goals of creating opportunities for area musical and visual artists and bringing the community together for cultural events that support the Heartside Neighborhood. 100% of proceeds at the door go to the Heartside Fund and to Hill Music Together.
