This one-day course will study the varieties of food writing: growing, shopping, cooking, eating, reviewing, memoirs, travel, and health, as well as different genres: cookbooks, magazine articles, fiction, blogs, and radio. We will discuss techniques that make food writing effective for readers, and doable for cooks. No prerequisites except ability to eat.
