This course is a workshop meant for poets who are ready to take on the submission of a full-length or chapbook manuscript. It will feature, at its core, a hands-on approach to the realities of submission, including poem order, sections, titles, and manuscript form. It will include the protocol on submitting, the importance of research and having “reading buddies,” and most of all, the absolute fun it can be to send your book sailing out into the publishing world. Those who would like can share manuscripts with the group in advance for feedback.
