Watch TV on your computer?

Have you ever wanted to put down the TV remote and turn on your computer to watch your favorite television programs? Have you ever wanted to change channels with a click of a mouse? TV on your computer is becoming a viable option in home entertainment. Its called Internet Protocol Television, or IPTV, and it will allow people to watch television over their home computer's high-speed Internet connection. A pilot IPTV program has recently been launched in San Diego by Time Warner - customers in Mira Mesa and Tierrasanta can now watch TV on their PCs. But experts say there are challenges to the new technology. A Time Warner exec and an industry observer will talk about the pros and cons of watching TV on your computer.
