Q&A With Hill Kemp
(2003-05-07)
(KUT) - Mystery, Murder, Sex, Scandal. Those aren't words commonly associated with a state legislative session. But a new novel by former Texas House member, Hill Kemp, is filled with suspense, scheming, steamy interludes and plenty of just plain fun. The book is called "Capitol Offense." The setting is the 1999 regular session. The characters, although he says they're entirely fictional, just happen to include a governor getting ready to run for President. Kemp says, truth or fiction - the Texas legislative process is fascinating.

Kemp will have a book signing Wednesday, May 7 at 6pm at the Barnes and Noble on Guadalupe.
