The nation's weak economy including higher fuel and food prices--has triggered a chain reaction of spending cuts from the corporate balance sheet to the family budget. In more and more cases, the family pet isn't making the cut. Kentucky Public Radio's Kristin Espeland reports from partner-station WFPL in Louisville.
