Division of Charitable Solicitations
Any person or group that appeals to the public for support of its charitable cause is a "charitable organization". Persons or organizations that intend to solicit donations must register before asking the public for contributions.
Excluded from the requirement to register are religious institutions and affiliated groups; educational institutions and supporting organizations; volunteer fire departments, rescue squads and local civil defense organizations; and, organizations that receive contributions less than $30,000 annually.
(Excluded groups are required, however, to complete and file an "Exemption Request" form.)

Event Description: Bring your ghouls and goblins, princesses and fairies to Stones River Mall on Halloween! What: Mall-O-Ween * When: 5-7p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31 * Where: Center Court and throughout the Mall * Trick-or-treat throughout the Mall's indoor and outdoor retailers and enter your little ones in the Costume Contest (three age categories: 0-3, 4-7, 8-12). MidSouth Mobile DJs will be on-hand to bring some festive tunes, while the costumed kiddos pose for photos at the JCP Portrait booth. Stones River Mall has also partnered with Wild About Smiles, a local pediatric dentistry, to provide toothbrushes to help keep your children's teeth cavity-free. The Mall will also provide goodie bags for the first 500 kiddos dressed in costume. This event is exclusively for children 12 and younger.
