Tenn. Secretary of State
Division of Charitable Solicitations
Any person or group that appeals to the public for support of its charitable cause is a "charitable organization". Persons or organizations that intend to solicit donations must register before asking the public for contributions.
Excluded from the requirement to register are religious institutions and affiliated groups; educational institutions and supporting organizations; volunteer fire departments, rescue squads and local civil defense organizations; and, organizations that receive contributions less than $30,000 annually.
(Excluded groups are required, however, to complete and file an "Exemption Request" form.)
For more information go to http://www.state.tn.us/sos/charity/co-info.htm
Only registered groups may post events.
You may submit your event here and have it shared with the world!
WMOT must first review and approve listings before they are posted.
